CURRICULUM FOR EARLY LEARNERS

Development is gradual and reflects cumulative influences over time. Each child’s learning journey is unique.

The skills and learning goals in our learning center are divided into seven domains:

  1. Social and Emotional Development
  2. Physical Development
  3. Language and Literacy
  4. Mathematics and Reasoning
  5. Social Studies
  6. Science
  7. Creative Development

The first four domains represent the core areas of child development (social-emotional, physical, and cognitive).

Domains five, six and seven are applied sciences, which focus on content learning that integrates the developmental curiosities and capabilities of the child.

Development is a dynamic process. Within the seven domains are 28 skills that each define a learning goal with a series of observable benchmarks based on bio-behavioral shifts that track ongoing development from birth through primary levels. You access development during meaningful experiences within a child’s natural play or typical school routine.
